How thick is “2 mil”? To be exact, 2 mil is 25.4 Microns, or .0254 millimeters—in other words, 1/1000 of an inch. And that means, of course, that 4 mil is 50.8 Microns, or .0508 millimeters—in other words, 1/500 of an inch. These zipper top bags are acid-free. Sizes from 2” x 3” to 9” x 12”.
