Geological Rock-Color Chart

A revision of the previously released Geological Society of America Rock-Color Chart, this newly released chart is direct from Munsell. (All colors in the new edition are the same as those previously used in the GSA editions, and the chart was produced in cooperation with the GSA.) Munsell is known for their quality, loose-leaf-binder reference charts that make field identification so easy. The Rock-Color Chart is no exception. The chart includes colors as far as possible into the dark range in order to cover wet specimens as well as dry. (Wetting a rock specimen typically only makes the specimen darker and does not change the chroma.)
