Backpack Screen

backpack_screen__48b415c4701a5.pngFor back country surveying we offer removable, lightweight, steel, backpack frames mounted on small rocking sifters.

The frames are re-serviced ALICE, or All-Purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment, (i.e. Army Issue.) Steel frames may have light scratches and other slight wear, but are completely servicable and far more rugged than any other back pack frames on the commerical market. Total weight is less than 16 pounds.

A removable nylon carrying mesh over the sifter box is a standard feature so the sifter box can be used to carry equipment, such as tarps, into the field.

All wood is hand graded for minimum weight.

Note: Backpack Screen features the same screen area as our Small Rocking Sifter but, in order to minimize weight, does not have the front lateral dowel and is slightly shorter in height.

Due to problems procuring the backpack frames, this item is not available at this time



It's field season! We are running three weeks in screen production and
the cutting of wire mesh replacements.

If you need your sifters sooner or have a deadline, we will do
everything we can to expedite your order. Please let us know!
